Plenty of scratchings and two heavy tracks at Gosford and Eagle Farm Suggest you stick with Ascot and Ballarat for the best bets One special today PR 7/13 Oraletto 29 Jan 2013
Had 5 top raters salute at Mornington but lost one to a protest, still a great day overall.

We will stick with Mornington and Bunbury today given the rain and track conditions in the other states. There are no specials 27 Jan 2013
Good day bar for the specials Trifectas were great with 14 and 12 top selections made it a successful day

Australia Day and the barbies fire up today. Lamb Chops and lemon pepper, what more could you want. Maybe a special or two will help you celebrate Sunshine Coast looks like a raffle with the track conditions and scratchings. Ascot fields are small and lack substance, while Morphetville is its usual poor grade of race so be wary. Our best today are SR 4/4 Knoydart MR 5/3 Vain Attraction AR 6/5 Petes Show For the ladies, MR 6/8 Dash For Viz and MR 7/7 The Minister at each way odds Good Luck

A good result on what looked and turned out to be a tough day with plenty of rough results including a $61 winner at Flemington. Tri's were once again good and 3 of our 4 specials won. Might be a good time to spread the word amongst your fellow punters as the fields will start improving from here on and thats when we really fire. Email them the link and we will continue to provide a consistent ratings service to even more people.

Not a day for favourites today so don't be afraid to look outside the square and find some value. There are plenty of chances at double figure odds at all meetings and it could be one of those days. Best plan is to follow the money if something is being backed and throw in the long shot if your playing tri's and first fours. Best of the day are SR1 General Peekay MR3/1 First Command PR 4/7 Portonian PR 6/11 Tiger Pete A couple for the ladies at odds so each way MR 8/14 Perfect Offering SR 8/12 Palasport 18 Jan 2013
Another tough day to find winners but the trifecta followers cleaned up again with a hit rate of 50%

Best Bet today is BR4/1 Barrassie Brother One for the ladies PR8/9 Get the Net and SR 5/11 Blurred Vision 14 Jan 2013
A hard day at the office particularly at the Gold Coast and Morphetville. Profitable for the trifecta punters but the specials let us down with only 1 of 3 saluting. The 45 degrees at Rosehill may have put paid to Berrimillas chances but she did figure in the stewards report as per the extract below. "A post-race veterinary examination of Berrimilla revealed the mare to be mildly lame in the near fore leg"
Hope you found a winner or 2.

Its 2013 and time to get serious about starting the year off in a good fashion and that can only be by backing plenty of winners. Our specials today are- SR 3/1 Berrimilla MR 6/9 British General BR 8/6 I'm Cool Good luck 13 Jan 2013
Hello again folks, just a brief note on my runners today as it’s been a pretty busy lead up to what’s going to be a busy day. Whether it’s going to be a successful day remains to be seen but you gotta be it to win it eh? I have a number of runners at the Gold Coast and fair to say it aint the happiest hunting ground for us over the years but on paper anyway, we have a few good chances and we can enjoy some success if they handle the tricky coastal track.
In the maiden we have Tiger Jet and Gleesonator. Both youngsters are emerging talents and will go onto better things. Gleesonator has drawn a horror gate of 20 so he starts from the widest gate. He has plenty of speed but if he can’t cross them and get into a good spot, he cannot win hence the big price from him. Tiger Jet has drawn well so he should get a good run in transit. I fancy him to be a better horse when he gets over a bit further but he can gallop. If he puts it together today, he is a winning chance in whats always a very keenly contest maiden and why not, it’s a 100 grand race.
Race 5 and the first of the feature race with Heza Jetsetter in the MM Guineas. It’s obviously a tough race but I simply cannot be any happier with our bloke as we go into the race. I really need a pretty hot tempo which will favour the run on horses. If the front runners are favoured with only a moderate tempo, then we cannot win. I reckon the the winner will come from either the frontrunners in Driefontein and No Looking back and the three back markers or run on horses in Heza Jettie, Sizzling and Caliente. Bloody tough race but I am happy with our bloke. The 2 year old classic is another beauty. Greytfilly has shown she is capable of winning if she does not do too much wrong. I have given her remedial barrier work this past 2 weeks and she has gone awesome. I am confident she can figure if she doesn’t screw the start up too much.
Gundy Son and Sons Of God in the cup are both just double figure each way chances. Soggie will give us a good sight rolling along up front and if he gets a softish lead, we know he will fight on but I question whether he has the class to knock a few of these horses off. Gundy will run better than his big odds suggest. Huggie, or Show Affection as you know her in the last is 50 to 1 and probably rightly so. She will get back and hopefully run home but she is in career best form and she will go better than her odds suggest. Back at Eagle Farm we have 4 runners for the Provincial meeting at a metro track …figure that one out. Any, a couple of nice 2 year olds making their debuts. Another Choisyn is a cracking looking Choisir colt who has talent but I suspect he will be on a truck to Washpool on Monday where he has a date with a surgeon’s knife. He can gallop but I will be watching with interest to see how much or how little wrong he does…..Gojo Mimo is a smart youngster. He will jump and run and he can figure. Kuchinskaya makes her debut for the stable and this daughter of Red Dazzler is smart. She has ability but fair to say this is a tough open race. There are 7 last start winners in the race so hard to gauge the form but I have to say I like this filly. She has settled in well and whilst I haven’t done much with her since she got here, she seems to have a good level of class. Coworth Park in race 6 has been a pleasant revelation as he is bone lazy and shows nothing on the training track but he got beaten a head and a head at his debut run and saluted at his next in town. This is a decent step up to the class 2 level for the 3 year old but hes gotta be a chance on his last 2. Gee, I just heard that the favourite is out of the Millions so it really does just show how fickle this caper can be at times. I feel for them as it brings back memories of when I had to scratch Buffering on the eve of the Group 1 BTC Cup when he was favourite. It can be a cruel game at times. Enjoy your weekend and good luck to you all on the punt. Regards. Robert I am still hopeful of getting a couple of yearlings on Sunday so don’t despair if you have requested a share. There will be plenty of opportunities with more sales to come as this one at the MM has been very strong for the good horses . Cheers. Rob

Another 12 big winners on a good value day. Only 1 of 3 specials won and the other 2 ran second. Hope you got amongst them. 06 Jan 2013
I hope you all checked into our website yesterday and followed the 3 winners and a second we tipped you into from 4 selections.Steve Rowe killed them in Esperance with a training treble a feat not many trainers achieve wether it be at Randwick or Roebourne, not easy to do so well done Steve. Todays racing is typical of this time of year so look for value and see how they are running early. At least we are on good or dead tracks all round. Our specials are Warwick Farm R4/10 Sessions Warwick Farm R6/8 Disciple Ascot 7/4 Opera Seria Caulfield R2/4 Devil Woman also rates as a special however there are too many unraced horses to declare it. Good Luck 05 Jan 2013
Having a little flutter today, our favourite Perth trainer Steve Rowe has 4 starters in Esperance today. Race 1/9 Baleen in me - each way Race 2/1 Its a Merc -win Race 5/5 Hi Kilmore - each way Race 6/4 Barnsley Lad - win Good Luck 03 Jan 2013
Only an average day and struggled with the long shots that kept arriving including the blow out in the Perth Cup which paid over $50 a win. Our specials were dismal and I will be leaving SA specials alone for a while and despite my own warning I fell in again. 8 winners, 8 tri's, and only 4 first fours is a poor day. 02 Jan 2013
Plenty of even racing around Australia and a interesting Perth Cup. I hope everyone had a great New Year and have sat down and worked out how much money you won over the last 12 months on the punt. Your starting again today so here's our best Perth Cup You can't ignore the money that has come for Cantonese $5.50 into $4.00. Jimmy Cassidy has returned from holidays to ride him in WA. The issue in WA over the past week has been the heat and the horse has been up since July 2012 so there are a few factors against him. He is very well weighted. My analysis of the race is based on the future. Do you think Cantonese, Mr Moet, Pop Culture, or Ranger can win a group or listed race in Melbourne. The answer is Cantonese, Black type listed yes Pop Culture No to both Ranger already tried so no Mr Moet yes to both So in order 1/7/3/14 for me Best of the day are as follows remembering you always take a risk with a BB in Adelaide MR 6/2 Catapulted PR 1/2 The Millionaire AR 1/8 Choiselle AR 2/3 Exalted William AR 8/8 Waltzing to Win Good Luck |
